STRENGTHS:
- Making jewelry (Side note: Since she's an Alchemist, she makes jewelry to make enchanted items. They're easier to sell.)
- Manipulation. Jane is a sales woman, so she has a way of toying with someone's mind, making them think the way she wants them to think. Which includes some supernaturals.
- Green Thumb. Many of her ingredients are from the earth, and it's easier to grow them then to buy them, since most are difficult to find.
- Can hold her liquor. At bars and clubs she has a reputation of draining the places dry. She's a frequent at Fangtasia.
- Resourceful: Jane always finds her in a spot where she has to work with what she's got.
- Steal. Since she never had a legit job in her life, she learned the art of thievery as a teen.
WEAKNESSES:
- Liquor. She can't turn down a drink
- Cocky. Sometimes she can get too cocky with what she's doing, and gets blind sighted to the situation.
- Bringing up her mother. It's a rather personal and sensitive topic, and she makes a point to never talk about her family.
- Food. Like Liquor, she can't turn down a good meal.
- Lazy. Jane has never actually had a real job. Maybe once or twice that barely lasted a week. She learned how to rob houses and pickpocket people.
SECRETS: Her mother used her powers as a witch to kill people she wanted revenge over. Jane helped dispose the bodies until she was fifteen, when she cursed an item her mother owned, causing her mother's immune system to weaken, and die from a common flux. She also has a necklace with the finger bones of her mother, that is enchanted. It stops vampires from glamouring her.
OVERALL: Jane isn't a socialite. She never liked the term friend, because she never had a real one considering she lived in isolation with her mother in the heart of Lousiana's dense forest and swamps. She prefers making friends with animals, since that was her only company. But as she grew up, she learned the art of manipulation, finding her own means of obtaining money. So the closest to friends she has are her allies, colleagues, associates, and contacts. If she needs something, she goes to them. She has no close bond with anyone other than herself, and her cat and her bird. Some may find that sad, but Jane doesn't give two shits about what people think of her.
Since Jane is an Alchemist, which very few witches and warlocks are able to completely master, she is rather arrogant about it. While most witches tend to the earthy part of Wicca and Witchcraft, such as the elements, or even Psychic abilities, Jane is more of the science of magic. Smarts over power always seemed to work for her. She out smarted her mother, one of the most evil of witches Jane ever knew.
Jane keeps to herself, but she won't keep her opinions to herself. She's rather blunt, sometimes rude, and doesn't beat around the bush. Not to mention her determination. If something is in the way of her obtaining something, or reaching her goal, she will find a way to walk around it, or obliterate it. Jane has never given up on something yet.
As first appearances go, Jane comes off boyish, rough, and 'one of the guys'. This makes people believe right off she's a lesbian, which isn't far from the truth to be honest. Sometimes she even walks like a man, unless she purposely wants to be sexy to get her means.
Jane also has no sense of danger. She will stand up to, or talk back to, or rob someone that is a huge threat. She has no problem with bitching and challenging vampires or werewolves. They tend to be afraid of witches anyway, especially if she pretends she's a necromancer. Some of them are even aware of who her mother was, which bothers her to no end. She hates when people mention her mom.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Jane Antoinette Wall was a witch born in 1941 in Louisiana, who lived with her older sister in a old house around the Atchafalaya Basin, the largest swamp in America. When she was thirteen, her sister was murdered by a local, claiming she cursed him when that wasn't the case. Since then, Jane brought herself up, learned English (as she only spoke French), and made a point to leave her old home in the swamp every once in a while to interact with the locals, not wanting to be pinned a witch herself. Even though she was. She never joined a Coven, but she did seek guidance from one. Jane, although known to some was a witch, was considered harmless. By the time she was 20, Jane was raped by a pastor who was trying to 'cleans' her from her evil. She became pregnant, and when her son was born, he was taken away by that very pastor, deeming her an unfit parent, and sending him off to an orphanage.
The next time that pastor tried to take her again, she summoned the powers she had, and manipulated an alligator to snatch him right off the dock of her home. The pastor's follower knew it was her, but there was no evidence otherwise, since it was more than enough proof that he died from being attacked by an alligator. Then again when she was 25, she got pregnant again, not a rape, but the child was a still born, and not willing to part with her baby, she mummified the baby and put him in an urn, and enchanted that urn. It was an maternity enchantment, so that Jane wouldn't lose another child. However it was unstable, and when she was 30, she had a daughter, and named her Barbara Wall.
Barbara "Babs" Wall was not a normal child.
Jane died from breast cancer, though her daughter, then 16 years old, looked to have no empathy. Many witnessed that she did not cry at the funeral (those who attended were kind to Jane, and the local Coven, and those who went to her who wanted to be healed). The Coven suspected that her daughter was the one who cursed her with illness.
Exactly one year later, Barbara had an affair with a married man twice her age, who already had two children of his own. Louis Beaumont was charming, and handsome, and a pervert. Barbara was a barely legal teenager who a nice body, and a dark mind and was up to do anything. He promised her riches, he promised to leave his wife and kids to be with her, but he didn't. After they made love, and he knocked her up, he went back to his family and pretended she no longer existed.
Louis Beaumont was Babs' first kill. She learned the magic of voodoo and created a doll, and made him drown in his own expensive in-ground pool. The police think it was suicide, because there was no sign of struggle. But no note as well. As if that wasn't enough, Babs also cursed his children, that they would not have children of their own (still borns), and the Beaumont line would be broken. Except for her daughter, whom she named after her mother, Jane Marie Wall.
After that, everyone believed that Barbara was a witch, and that old swamp house was cursed, because everyone who went there died weeks or a month later from a disease. Healthy men and women got illnesses that their doctors found no traces of before hand. Some people dropped dead right on their doorstep, some after Babs walks away from them from encountering them at the grocery store would just choke on the air. those that no one knew about, Jane helped her mother (unwillingly) to hide the bodies in the swamp, to feed the gators and piranha and leached their bodies try to use their blood for spells.
Jane was tired of her mother, knowing what she was doing was wrong. She may have been raised solely by her mother, but Jane did spend more of her time in the small town, making friends, and even eating at their houses instead of going back home. There were some parents though that were wary of her. Then when she was fifteen, Barbara killed the mother of one of Jane's best friend. That best friend blamed her, and never wanted to see her again.
Enraged, Jane went through her grandmother's and great grandmother's and great-aunt's books, and taught herself to enchant items. When she got what she needed, got at a stage she thought she was good, she enchanted her mother's pentacle necklace, that as long as she wore it, it weakened her immune system dangerously. Since the process was slow, Barbara didn't catch on to it. Eventually she caught a Flux from the swamp water, and died just before Jane turned sixteen.
It didn't take long for Jane to get her things and leave the Wall Witch family home. She took her family books and enchanted items, ingredients, and other valuables into her old beat up Firebird that her mother stole off of her father. She drove all around America, learning what she could, buying college books to educate herself, and then found herself back in Louisiana, rending a small town house in Bon Temps. She is able to support herself by healing people, selling enchanted items, tarot cards, and...well... thieving.

NAME/ALIAS: Kat
AGE:22
OTHER CHARACTERS: none.
RP SAMPLE:She was suspended from the music room for the next week. If she had any common sense, she would agree that was for the best. But how do they expect her to keep her sane by keeping her away from the very thing her life was built around? Build on. Built in. Built through. She ate, breathed, slept, thought, spoke, in music notes. She could see them, every sound, every word, written across the sky like smoke and light and darkness. And how was she supposed to practice out here? The Gardens...some garden it was. It was too cold for anything decent to grow, and everything desperately needed to be pruned and weeded. Even if it was warm, she imagined that any amount of beauty would shy away from the black hole that was next door, or pulled out by greedy unclean hands, and the petals would be bitten off like Ozzy Osbourne biting off the head of a bat.
The clouds were as bleak. Flat. Gray. Low. As if a storm was coming, but was trying to be fashionably late. No wonder nothing grew here but weeds, and not the good kind. Robyn lay flat on her back across the grass, trying to picture shapes in the grey clouds, but only found music notes. The tune began to play in her head, and all she could do to shut off the music was close her eyes and think about the accident. But the only thing that she could remember was the song that was playing on the radio that night. Master of Puppets. Robyn wasn't even a fan of rock, or metal, or anything that could cause injury to your eardrum, but when you're drunk and stupid and happy, you could be listening to white noise, and it would the most life-changing tune of your life. The only sad part about it was, was that her friends had to die listening to that song. No one wants their last thought to be 'I really wish there was something better on the radio'.
Robyn's thoughts somehow brought her back to what happened earlier that day in the music room. They scarcely had any decently tuned string instruments. They were well stocked in acoustic guitars, that were overused and abused, and the strings were missing. It took all her convincing and string pulling to get at least one cello and a new violin. The piano there was old and dirty, and her heart breaks every time she see's it, but most of the inmates, and the staff as well, see's that she already laid claim on the shabby looking thing. In all honesty, it was her best friend in the entire building. But when she came in that morning, her fingers aching to play like a whore's cunt aching to be plowed, Robyn came upon a most horrifying sight. Someone was playing her piano. Badly. Horribly. Damaging. Crashing the keys with violent fingers. It was like he was raping the poor thing. Worst of all, he was blissfully unaware of just how horrible he was. Robyn saw red. It took four nurses to pull her out before she could do any more damage on the poor patient. The Music room now has two smashed guitars in their collection of shit ones, and a maroon coloured cement tile.
Robyn began ripping at the grass, creating piles and piles of them at her sides, until her fingers touched soil, and the wind blew the blades onto her stomach and legs and face. They put her out here. Said fresh air would do her good. The air was polluted with BO, concrete, dirt, blood, and smoke. When she opened her eyes, she could see the smoke. Her eyes followed it to the origin and found the chimney. The mountain high, ox-sized body guard, Pyrrichos Angelos.
Robyn tossed a rock at his feet to get his attention, "Hey, asshole, some people are trying to get some fresh-ish air over here." How inconsiderate.
