So a vampire killed her parents. It really sucked knowing that Mr. and Mrs. Stackhouse died because of what Sookie was. The young blonde woman had been on a wild roller coaster with how she felt about being a fairy (mostly lame, very lame) but she had always thought there was some sort of reason for her being the way she was. Now she just didn't want to be fae anymore. She wondered if this was how Jason felt when he thought it was his fault they'd got caught in the flood. She had told him over and over that it wasn't his fault and kept him from trying to take the blame. Now he was the one trying to make her feel less guilty. It was funny how things worked out, or didn't. Still, Sookie knew that it was her fault that their parents weren't with them anymore. Of course, maybe they would have died a year ago with Gran when Rene or Drew or whatever his real name was started murdering people because of their association with vampires.
A bottle of vodka and some orange juice sat on the table in front of Sookie Stackhouse, but both went untouched. Initially, she had thought about pulling another night like the time she lost control of her car, but remembered that that was the night she had almost had sex with Alcide. Eric and Bill had walked in on her and told her that Russell Edgington was, in fact, still alive. Of course, Alcide had already informed her of that, but it somehow made the situation that much more real. It was also the night she realized that no matter who she dated, her life was always going to be complicated. It wasn't going to go away just because she would force herself to stay away from Bill and Eric. It was never going to go away. So all that work and heartache was all for nothing.
Sookie hadn't seen either of them since they found Russell, though. Bill had pretended to glamour her since she couldn't actually be glamoured and Eric had actually glamoured Alcide. Now the werewolf was repulsed by the idea of Sookie being with him. Which she figured was fine because she had enough on her plate to deal with. So she got up to put the alcohol away and instead just poured a glass of orange juice. No drinking for tonight. It was probably in Sookie's best interest not to drink anyway – she was definitely a lightweight.
ooc: So, I know it's short, but I thought it might go faster and we could get a feel for them better if the first posts were shorter... also, it's 3:40AM and I'm just dead.
