●You may sign up with any name you like, but once you've been accepted, please change that to the name of your character, first and last.
●If you want to play a canon, you should reserve it. This doesn't mean you will get the character, but it does mean we'll know you're planning to make it. Keep in mind that we do allow multiple applications for the same character. Up to three actually. This is known as a competition. The competition will end the last day of the first reservation, at which point either one character will be chosen, or if we don't think any applications are appropriate for that character, none will be chosen.
●No posting anything until your application has been accepted (unless you’re posting a reserve form for a canon character). This includes face claims, games, and plotting.
no posting anything until your application has been accepted (unless you’re posting a reserve form for a canon character).
●There is no limit to the amount of characters you can have, as long as they are all active. If we think there are too many girls, or too many vampires, we might put a ban on them.
●Your face claim must be a real person. I don't care if it's a model, actor, or whatever, but we will not be accepting drawings or cartoons of any kind.
●Your character is not perfect. Your character is not all bad and not all good. Your character must not be a mary/gary sue. We will not accept characters that are.
●This is a fantasy genre, but make it realistic. Humans don't fly. Keep to the species list
●This board is rated "use some common sense." It's proboards, people. They require you to be at least 13, so keep in mind that people as young as that might join this board. We won't be violating ToS.
●When making your character, do not copy from wiki or any other source (the exception is recycling a character you've played before). We will not accept applications that have been plagiarized.
chat box;;
●No spamming, no advertising. This includes mentioning and talking about other forums in the box. This includes planning new forums in the box. We don't do that on other sites for here, it won't be done here for other sites. Thanks.
●Be nice. Your character might not get along with another character, but we're all writers here. If you are having issues with another member, please inform an admin.
●If you are not accepted, please do not plot in the cbox. You are not accepted. That character may not get accepted. Don't assume you can start plotting.
●On that note, please don't pester people for plots and posts in the box. Bringing it up once is fine, but it starts to leave other people out when it gets obnoxious and also, constant plot requests in a box are annoying.
●Guests, you are more than welcome to talk to us and ask questions, but the same rules apply to you.
roleplaying;;
●Third person. Past tense. Unless it's a journal issue or something, keep it that way.
●No godmodding. It's not fun when people control your character, don't do it to theirs.
●We are a literate rp. We ask that you post at least 250 words, and we'd love it if you posted more. Also, we're requesting decent grammatical skills. We understand typos and grammar errors happen. But let's try and keep our posts readable.
●Looking for a password? There isn't one. You are responsible for knowing the rules. I'm not responsible for making you read them. You disobey them, you get warned, banned, deleted... whatever.
graphics;;
●Graphics are not required, but they are nice. Posting templates are also not required. Avatars may only be 100x100 px. Signatures can be up to 500px in width and please do not make them any taller than 400px in height. Even that is pushing it.
●Did you have someone else make your graphics? Credit them. Not doing so is stealing.
Thanks!
